As an IT Business Analyst at Micron, you will be responsible for both implementing new systems and supporting existing systems for global core organizational functions for your domain. With particular focus on SAP Ariba systems, configuration, and functionality.
Your focus is supporting business systems and processes, working closely with stakeholders to define and develop solutions and implement applications. Also, assisting Project Managers with project plans, as needed. You are a significant contributor to work plans for components on engagements and considered a technical subject matter expert.
Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with business to understand the business problem statement and collaborate on process and tool solution options.
  • Responsible for supporting and leading project tasks.
  • Ariba configuration review, setting and maintenance for IT and in collaboration with business units as required.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues on products supported within the business domain.
  • May conduct Blueprint / Design workshops for one or more processes.
  • Configure scenarios in relevant Ariba/SAP modules.
  • Collaborate with Developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements
  • Write Functional Specification / Configuration documents.
  • Performs analysis and effective diagnosis of business partner issues.
  • Ability to perform unit and performance testing on all system components
  • Develops solutions to client problems through application of personal experience, methods, and tools; validates solutions to subject matter experts.
  • At least one end to end implementation and configuration experience on the SAP ERP platform, with a focus on Materials Management modules.
  • Train customers, support teams, and the business on system changes, new functionality, new process, etc.


Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with an excellent track record of collaborating with the business users.
  • Understanding of functional aspects of Procurement.
  • Experience in implementing SAP Ariba and SAP ECC MM enabled integrated end to end Procurement solutions.
  • 3 years of relevant SAP consulting or industry experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to seek alternatives, new ideas, and/or approaches to problems, and develop and implement solutions.
  • Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented individual with the desire to quickly learn and ramp on work, new concepts, business models and technologies.
  • Ability to develop a strong business acumen for the aspects of the business you support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.
  • Familiarity with Agile Software delivery methodologies and tools such as Azure ADO, Waterfall methodology, and Kanban.


Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in the high-tech industry
  • Technical Environments- SAP ECC, S/4 Hana, Ariba CIG
  • SAP Functional Modules- SAP MM, SAP Ariba, Ariba Sourcing
  • Project Management Experience
  • Hands-on functional configuration and design experience
  • Experience with Ariba integration with middleware and ERP systems (SAP preferred)


Education:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in any of the following
  • Information Technology
  • Business Information Systems
  • Project management
  • Related fields of study
