Job Description
The Install Support Technician is responsible for supplying technical support to internal and external teams. handling calls from partners during install, training internal and external team members and assuring installs are completed to the technical standards set by Envysion.
Works closely with partner Project Managers managing field technicians, Envysion Project Managers, Sales Engineers and Customer Support Technicians to ensure that installs are successfully completed in a timely manner.
Workplace:
This is a hybrid position with in-office and remote work. Must be willing to commute to our Westminster office 2-3 times per week.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that long term partner and customer relationships are protected by providing excellent customer service.
Assist with maintaining customer relationships by providing excellent feedback to customers on their install partners’ performance.
Ensure that the detailed technical plans provided in the Installation Work Order Scope of Work are executed by internal and external team members
Train the trainer or technicians prior to a rollout
Troubleshoot technical issues with technicians in the field
Ensure the solution has been correctly and completely integrated by performing the prescribed detailed technician checkout process
Update internal teams and systems accordingly
Work with internal teams when technical issues occur to resolve at the earliest time frame
Must be able to adhere to company and departmental policies and procedures
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years’ experience in a technical support role with progressive advancement in responsibilities/duties
Field experience a plus
Formal technical training preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Computer literate including Linux and Google products, Salesforce is a plus
Strong system integration experience
Strong Networking knowledge
Knowledge of surveillance system installations and operations
Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work nights and weekends if required
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Must have excellent communication skills with co-workers, field techs and customers
Excellent follow-up/follow through skills
Hourly range for this position in Colorado is: $18.00 - 20.00 per hour. Compensation offerings will be evaluated based on individual experience and skills.
Basic Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years’ experience in a technical support role with progressive advancement in responsibilities/duties
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
