General Manager, Driving
ABOUT THIS POSITION
Aceable is looking for a self-motivated and results-driven General Manager to lead our online Driving certification business. You will build and execute a strategic plan for the driving vertical as well as services that develop ongoing value for the customer. You will own the P&L for our high eight-figure driving business, including allocating budget resources and coordinating operations with our shared services teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing operational costs, driving partner development and identifying new business opportunities. This work is all in mission to extend Aceable’s preeminent market position as the only considered solution when it comes to online driving certification courses.

Aceable is a mobile education platform designed to create affordable, engaging, and convenient online courses available across mobile devices. Built by former teachers, NASA engineers, and those passionate about education, our team is obsessed with helping people reach their life goals and milestones through online certification.
After launching our first mobile app to provide accredited driver's ed courses, Aceable expanded into real estate education and most recently entered into healthcare education. Aceable serves hundreds of thousands of students per month, but we need your help to tackle our vision of serving millions of students per month!

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the driving team on partnership with shared services to drive the short and long-term aspirations of the business
- Lead business development and B2B revenue growth opportunities while collaborating with our talented shared services marketing team
- Develop and implement product and lifetime value growth strategies and roadmap
- Lead a team of product marketing managers and product managers to further differentiate Aceable from the competition.
- Evaluate and analyze performance, productivity, accounting / financial data, growth opportunities, regulatory changes and expansion.
- Identify M&A opportunities in your respective vertical and work with our VP of Corporate Development to execute.
- Partner with functional leaders to build strategic priorities and to deliver on growth objectives.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Must-Haves:
- B2C leadership experience in a revenue creating role
- Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction and create prioritized roadmaps focused on what will drive the most value
- Operational prowess, a growth mindset and energy centered on continuous improvement
- Ability to succeed in a matrixed organization structure to drive change and build partnerships
- A strong cross-functional business and financial acumen
Important-to-have:
- Previous experience as a GM or leadership role in a shared services environment, with experience scaling a $50M+ business and management of a full P&L
- Business development and account management experience
