Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced IT Director to oversee the IT Engineering function in our company. You will be in charge of our IT Engineering team which is responsible for all IT Infrastructure

You will oversee a team of top-notch engineers focused on our on-premise and cloud infrastructure, networks, telephony, and collaboration tools (O365, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian Suite, etc.).

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic program and roadmap for our infrastructure and collaboration technologies (including technology, processes, and policies)
• Partner with other business application leaders and business leaders to ensure IT roadmap aligns with business roadmap
• Responsible for overseeing all IT projects to ensure they come in on time and on budget
• Drive automation throughout the entire IT ecosystem
• Work with the Service Desk team to provide tools and automation to ensure a top-tier Service Desk experience for internal clients
• Create and drive process improvements initiatives for the entire Engineering lifecycle (Intake through resolution)
• Partner with the IT Security team to ensure that established security policies, standards and procedures are being executed across the IT technology landscape
• Assist the IT Security team in any compliance or internal security audits
• Oversee disaster recovery process to ensure that the appropriate plans and technology are in place and updated as needed due to business and environmental or regulatory changes and are exercised as defined.
• Participate in business continuity planning. Review IT processes, staff competencies, and staffing requirements (skill levels, user knowledgebase, number of staff required to meet SLAs, etc.) to identify opportunities for improved service delivery and seamless integration of new systems into existing systems.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• 7-10 years of experience working in IT, with at least 3+ years of experience managing teams
• Excellent communication and management skills
• Passion for developing and implementing technology systems to support the growth of our organization
• Large project management experience
• Experience with contact centers, UCaaS, telephony, and networking
• Proven ability to drive initiatives and achieve business results
• Proven ability to create a positive team culture and environment that motivates team members to participate and deliver
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with
  • Microsoft Active Directory and O365
  • AWS and cloud architectures
  • Networking technologies including DNS, DHCP, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPNs
  • SSO protocols (SAML, OIDC)
  • Monitoring and event management
