Debt Team Member
Job Description:
Individual will be responsible for tracking and monitoring agent's Advance/Debt balances with individual carriers. Communicate potential debt liability to respective marketing affiliates as well as maintain current balances and disposition of active debts.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Tracks and monitors agent account balances.
- Follows established guidelines to review and update account status.
- Maintains log of account details via Vector.
- Communications notifications to agent regarding debt balance.
- Records and maintains debt payments.
- Schedules follow-up communications, as needed.
- Researches debt, collecting further information, as needed.
- Identifies/executes opportunities for process improvements.
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies.
- Performs other related duties, as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and with teams.
- Ability to easily learn new systems.
- Ability to communicate with agents in a courteous manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, or similar software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of related experience in related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
