Job Description:
ECS is seeking Cybersecurity System Administrators - ACAS to support the Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency's National Background Investigative Services program in Hanover, MD. Responsibilities include:

  • Operating and maintaining the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate scanning of multiple cloud enclaves and reporting in accordance with DoD policies and orders. Activities that this position will oversee include deploying, configuring, operating, monitoring, tuning, upgrading, and troubleshooting Tenable components
  • Serve as Tenable administrator supporting various organizations across multiple DoD cloud offerings
  • Oversee completion of the following key functions for Tenable deployments:
  • Install updates to Tenable software as released and in compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and task order requirements
  • Deploy, maintain, and tune Tenable scanners to meet current and future needs
  • Create, deploy, and manage Tenable scan configurations
  • Conduct scans and provide reporting to facilitate remediation activities
  • Ensure that the ACAS scanners and Security Center are operational and reporting properly
  • Produce reports and charts that convey the operational state of Tenable scanners as well as roll-ups of scan findings, trends, and outliers
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures for the ACAS tool
  • Document, report, and resolve Tenable management or operational issues in accordance with required timelines

Required Skills:

  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working with RMF and NIST 800-53
  • Experience working with cyber security tools
  • Experience with cyber awareness (e.g., phishing emails, cyber trainings)
  • ACAS specific training and certification (i.e. DISA ACAS course of instruction)
  • Basic knowledge of Public Key infrastructure (PKI) certificates
  • Familiarity with DISA STIG and U.S. Cyber Command Task Order Requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft and Linux Server Operating Systems.
  • Current DOD Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Management Information Systems
  • Business or Engineering preferred
  • Demonstrated Experience with AWS GovCloud
  • Demonstrated experience with Linux systems
  • Clear understanding of the VDP process
