You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your Role and Responsibilities
The Security & Privacy Seller Support Consultant in the Americas is a Security & Privacy Contractual SME whose work involves identifying the security and privacy contractual risks in IBM Consulting contracts.
The Security & Privacy Seller Support Consultant a general knowledge of risks associated with information technology services as it pertains to IBM Consulting projects, cybersecurity and privacy risk areas, cybersecurity and privacy controls, IBM Consulting's baseline cybersecurity and privacy controls, and standard corporate security and privacy responses. The Security & Privacy Seller Support Consultant should be able to work across project teams and leadership, C&B, and IBM Legal to identify security and privacy contractual language that is acceptable with controls already in place, what could be acceptable if the account team agrees and puts additional controls in place, and what is unacceptable to IBM. They should be able to provide alternative language and assist with client discussions when needed.

The Security & Privacy Seller Support Consultant should be able to assist with the completion of Vendor Security Assessment Questionnaires through identifying current resources, then answering and assisting with more difficult questions and scenarios. They should be able to discuss with Client InfoSec teams any questions or concerns IBM has in the completion of the Questionnaires/Assessments.

Time permitting, the Security & Privacy Seller Support Consultant should be able to Lead Cybersecurity Regulatory or IBM program initiatives. This includes updates to IBM Corporate Standards as well as Americas Cybersecurity Regulatory Initiatives.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Required:• Security & Privacy Consulting Experience (5 to 10 years of experience) • Experience in reviewing and/or negotiating contractual requirements (3-10 years)• Experience and understanding of different control frameworks and the intersection as it applies to contractual language.• Knowledge of Security & Privacy Regulatory landscape as it applies to the Americas. (CCPA, LGPD, PIPEDA, HIPAA, SOX, GLBA, FERPA, FERC, GDPR, UK Data Protection Act, etc)• At least one security/privacy certification (CISA/CISM/CRISC/CISSP/CIPP/CIPM/CIPT)• Ability to work effectively across multiple functions: project leadership, project technical leads, C&N, Legal, and Client counterparts.• Understanding of Corporate Policies and Structures • Strong (written and verbal) English communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise• Multiple security/privacy certification (CISA/CISM/CRISC/CISSP/CIPP/CIPM/CIPT)
• Experience in responding to Vendor Security Assessment Questionnaires.
