Position Overview:

Katapult is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Plano, Texas location. The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company's customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. Katapult has career planning opportunities that will allow this position potential future career growth based on performance.

Position Type & Expected Hours:

This is a full-time position. Evening and weekend work is required in accordance to defined work schedules.

Primary Job Duties:
  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or online chat to provide support and information on the company's services
  • Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative's knowledge, forwards to the assigned area or appropriate staff member
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns
  • Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
  • Ensures the security of customer files/records
  • Performs other related duties

    • Excellent communication skills including active listening
    • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances
    • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
    • Flexible work schedule which may include nights and weekends
    • 1-2 years experience in a call center environment
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Proven ability to multitask while using multiple applications simultaneously
    • Must be able to execute basic mathematical equations
  • Needs to exhibit critical thinking and problem solving
  • Able to handle difficult conversations and remain calm in stressful situations
  • Must have stable and consistent internet connectivity for remote work

  • Proficient with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Presentations)
  • Efficient with Google Chrome troubleshooting (Incognito mode, inspect element)
  • Lease/Rent to Own business experience or Retail Service Operations is a plus
  • Familiar with FDCPA guidelines and regulations
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
  • Experience with Hubspot
  • Ability to type 45+WPM (with 0 errors)
