The Role
VergeSense is hiring a customer advocacy marketer. This person will have the opportunity to build a creative process and platform to showcase how innovative companies are leveraging VergeSense to develop their physical workplaces to empower today’s employees. 
VergeSense customers are workplace leaders at some of the most forward-thinking enterprise companies in the world. We’re looking for a strong marketer to meet with these individuals and tell their stories. This is a creative and relationship-driven role that directly impacts brand awareness, demand growth, sales, and customer success. 

What You'll Do

  • This person has the opportunity to build the customer advocacy marketing function from the ground up. What success looks like is the creation of a remarkable content series that showcases VergeSense customers, their innovative workplace programs and strategies, and the impact VergeSense has on their businesses. Content output will be in the form of videos (long and short), written work, case studies, presentations, media stories – you name it. 
  • The ideal person is a perfect mix of creative and process-driven with the chops to design the program and to execute and make it happen. This is also a customer-facing role, and the ideal person will have the skills necessary to build relationships with customers, interview our champions, and find creative ways to partner together to tell their stories. 

What You'll Need

  • A natural storyteller, curious to dig in and understand unique points of view
  • Networker and relationship builder with strong empathy for the customer
  • Builder, not afraid to roll up sleeves and edit videos or write a case study
  • Creative, knows how to make incredible delight experiences
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Collaborative across the company and can bring people along in your vision Workplace and/or proptech industry experience a plus 

Example Projects

  • Create a Customer Advocacy Funnel. Create a process with the sales and customer success teams to be introduced to every new customer. Interview each customer, learn their goals, and find opportunities to delight and tell their stories. Similar to a partner function, you will dig in to understand their priorities and develop win-win opportunities for the customer and VergeSense. 
  • Build an Experiential Delight Program. Design a systematic way to delight every customer and foster good will. Produce creative wow moments. Use these moments as opportunities to build strong relationships. 
  • Create a Storytelling Production Engine. Build a content production engine to tell our customers’ stories across all formats: video interviews, presentations, webinars, testimonials events, PR and media ops, case studies, awards applications, blog posts, social content, and more. Build content yourself, and direct others to support you. Travel to new office builds to capture remarkable moments. 
  • Create Community Across Customers. Create VergeSense’s first customer advisory board. Bring customers together to learn from each other. Long-term, this could become a large-scale customer user group event.
