What does the Client Relationship Manager do?

 

The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) provides administrative support to the Account Senior Vice Presidents (SVPs) for their assigned portfolios. This Account Operations role is responsible for ensuring Salesforce information for their assigned portfolio is updated on a regular basis. This includes, but is not limited to, the client roster, client contacts and opportunities. The CRM will also support account teams for their assigned portfolios internally on client engagement and appreciation opportunities such as, gift fulfillment and disease awareness recognition. They will also be responsible for executing setup for client visits to an Intouch office. The CRM is entrusted with highly confidential matters. Therefore, the right candidate possesses superior administrative skills, sound judgment, tact and discretion. 

Responsibilities:

  • Pull portfolio-level reports from Salesforce on a regular basis, and work closely with account leads and SVPs to ensure we maintain correct client data; update Salesforce with information provided
  • Communicate upcoming client birthdays, work anniversaries and disease awareness events to account leads, and work closely with them to fulfill these requests (Client Appreciation)
  • Work closely with and support account teams if clients are visiting an Intouch office, including providing flowers, fruit water, Intouch branded items, etc. for their meeting (Red Carpet Treatment)
  • Attend portfolio leadership meetings and distribute conference reports after each meeting to attendees, including account SVP and executive sponsor
  • Communicate regularly with portfolio account teams to make sure org charts are updated and reflect any updates provided in a conflict management tool
  • Attend biweekly CRM team status meetings to discuss current initiatives
  • Schedule regular 1:1s with each SVP to ensure expected level of support is met
  • Assist SVPs with booking travel as needed  
  • Complete and submit expense reports for SVPs as needed
  • Manage and maintain a complex calendar for your SVPs as needed
  • Assist with corporate-side initiatives, including but not limited to, ad boards, conferences, award submissions and office events as needed
  • This role reports to the Associate Director, Portfolio Operations

 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required
  • Client-focused, service-oriented outlook with proven relationship-building skills
  • High level of accountability and ownership of actions when building trusted relationships with internal teams
  • Proven organizational and time-management skills, with strong multitasking and problem-solving acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Office proficiency, specifically Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Salesforce (or similar) experience preferred, but not required
  • Periodic travel may be required
