Job Description
This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE office OR Sandy, UT office) and partially from home.

This position supportsDental Select,a subsidiary ofAmeritas Life Insurance Corp., Dental Select administers group dental and vision insurance, as well as dental plans for individual and families, covering over 470,000 members.
The Business Systems Specialist assists and contributes to the design, development and deployment of business systems to meet division goals and objectives.
What you do
- Assist in ensuring systems support the business process
- Implement documented requirements and changes, or identify requirements and changes necessary for systems
- Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it
- Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system
- Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance
- Hosted partner onboarding and support
What you bring
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required
- 2-4 years related work experience such as work with FTP, SFTP connections, HIPAA EDI files or other Claims, Insurance Premium, or Financial Data files.
