Boeing is looking for a Business Support Services System Integration Specialist (Level 4) in our Dallas, TX facility. The Business Support Services System Integration Specialist will be an integral member of the GOLD database administration team. GOLDesp is our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and Supply Chain management system of record that provides our customers (internal and external) total lifecycle sustainment for maintenance, supply management, asset visibility/availability and financials. As a senior member of the team you will be trouble shooting system issues, running more difficult queries, conducting report analysis, and working with IT on a daily basis in order to support our programs.
This position analyzes and governs business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and improved business information processing systems and analytic solutions aligned to enterprise strategies. Represents the business units to define enterprise requirements and business cases for technology developments. Coordinates with business and technology teams integrating system and data requirements, such as system functions, output requirements, data acquisition, report development, and execution of user testing and acceptance. Supports and provides training and access for deployed systems.
This role will be based out of Dallas, TX .
This position may allow telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options
Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads determination of business information requirements and coordinates change activities at an enterprise level.
  • Act as intermediary between the business/programs and IT.
  • Leads development and implementation of business architecture based upon information requirements.
  • Develops data linkages, updates and monitors data and related policies, and performs quality control actions relating to business information.
  • Develops, integrates, standardizes, governs, and enhances information dashboards and reports.
  • Leads development, execution of system readiness testing. Administers and monitors systems post-implementation. Leads project management activities.
  • Leads system changes and integration efforts at an enterprise level.
  • Leads delivery of end-user support to include immediate and forward thinking system/data guidance, FAQ management, issue analysis, and training design and delivery.


The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with asset management or demand forecasting
  • 2+ years of experience any of the following software development languages: C, C++, C#, Ada, Java, SqlServer or Oracle.
  • 2+ years of experience in gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) Analysis.
  • 1+ years of experience with Functional Testing
  • Experience with user interface design
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools; more specifically Excel and Access.


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • 2+ years of experience leading a project
  • Experience in a role requiring any type of process improvement
  • Experience with US Army/military supply chain systems and tools.
  • Familiar with SAFe Agile.
  • Cold Fusion Experience.
  • MIL strip experience.


Typical Education/Experience

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)
