Job Summary:Security and Compliance are critical to protect the Walt Disney Company Brand, Assets and Intellectual Property. This role will partner heavily with Global Information Security (GIS), Management Audit (MA) and Enterprise Tech leadership to provide guidance to leadership on understanding security vulnerabilities and options for managing risk. This role will serve the Business Operations Point of Contact and coordination point across all of Enterprise Tech to provide visibility to security posture and improvement efforts and will drive:

  • Risk management
  • Identification of ongoing risks
  • Compliance tracking
  • Value added compliance and risk reporting
  • Compliance check-points during system lifecycles

Responsibilities:Guidance:

  • Work with leadership to understand risk and align risks to business objectives and key services
  • Develop and manage a risk and compliance portfolio to match projects and initiatives to key drivers for risk and compliance
  • Analyze data to identify trends and root drivers for risk both in Disney and across technologies
  • Develop a framework to measure and track risk concerns
  • Identify and assess gaps between desired state and current state
  • Provide recommendations in prioritizing initiatives based on impacts to risk and compliance
  • Work with teams and leadership to assess risks, determine impacts and prioritize initiatives
  • Partner with teams developing large cross organization efforts to ensure impacts to risk are captured and understood by leadership


Reporting:

  • Partner with Global Information Security, Management Audit and Performance, Analytics & Insights (PAI) teams to identify risk and compliance metrics reporting for Enterprise Technology Risk and Compliance
  • Coordinate with technology pillars to create a reporting framework
  • Partner with Global Information Security, Management Audit and other internal stakeholders to align reporting
  • Partner with PAI team to maintain a catalog of available risk and compliance reports to ensure comprehensive view for leadership
  • Serve as Business Operations Point of Contact for current and upcoming risk and compliance efforts (RIM, Management Audit initiatives, etc.)


Communication:

  • Operates as a highly independent and effective leader
  • Adept at influencing without direct authority
  • Utilizes highly developed communication skills to achieve stated business outcomes
  • Communicates objectives, status, risks and alternatives with stakeholders and leadership
