Assoc Access Mgmt Specialist
JOB SUMMARY
Ensure appropriate logical access is provided to Charter Communications employees and Contractors across hundreds of applications, servers and processes. Perform accurate and timely user account administration for enterprise applications and interfaces with business units to minimize access-related security risks while permitting the business to function efficiently. Follow team processes to comply with audits and security best practices for our role in each application, server and process. Participate in various process improvement activities and other access management projects.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Perform application role administration for enterprise applications.
- Identify improvements to overall role request processes.
- Provide excellent customer service by meeting or exceeding service level agreements.
- Act as a liaison between lines of business and Information Technology to proactively assess security needs.
- Partner with IT and Compliance groups to develop plans for ongoing monitoring of security access and user activity to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.
- Participate in team and department projects.
- Work with customers and business partners to continually streamline the access request process.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Knowledge of role-based access control concepts
- Ability to consult with technical or non-technical personnel and derive information pertaining to projects or initiatives
- Ability to communicate in business terms to all levels of personnel within the company
- Ability to learn new applications while maintaining support of existing ones
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workload with little supervision
- Ability to define a problem or objective and identify relevant concerns or factors
- General understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project and PowerShell.
Education
Associate's degree or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience
Related Work Experience
Experience in an Access Management or security-related function
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Knowledge of identity and access management audit requirements
Familiarity with various authentication technologies
Possess project management skills with attention to prioritization, a high degree of accuracy, and attention to detail
Ability to understand, envision and maintain strategy as defined by architecture and employ the concepts and ideas within the business environment
