Application Support Specialist - Lead
Job Description
Fragomen, an AmLaw 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking a Lead Application Support Specialist to join our talented Application Development team. The technology and applications we develop facilitates the hiring and movement of skilled talent on a global scale. The position will be a highly cross-functional role primarily working with our development team and establishing relationships with other IT and firm-wide departments.
How you will make a difference as Lead Application Support Specialist at Fragomen:
- Utilize knowledge of the Fragomen applications.
- Troubleshoot and take ownership in learning what is needed to solve the problem at hand.
- Work with our application development team daily in managing the escalation and resolution of issues.
- Serve as a liaison between our service desk and our application engineers.
Let's talk if you have the following qualifications and experience:
- Previous knowledge of the Fragomen developed applications
- Experience in troubleshooting web applications
- An understanding of how to use browser's Developer Tools as a means for troubleshooting
- Experience with reading and writing SQL queries
- Good communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
- Good technical writing skills
- The ability to discern when it is appropriate to escalate issue resolution
- Experience working with ServiceNow and Jira
