Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Transformation Director to join the Audio Video Division Team. Lead business transformation initiatives that improve performance, simplify how we operate, and strengthen our ability to grow. The Transformation Director partners across Operations, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Commercial, IT, and Shared Services to define practical transformation priorities, optimize the manufacturing and supply chain footprint, improve end-to-end processes, and build capabilities that deliver measurable and sustainable value.
This role acts as a catalyst for change—helping teams move from strategy to execution through clear priorities, strong governance, digital enablement, lean practices, quality discipline, and effective change leadership.
Responsibilities
What Will You Do?
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Transformation Strategy & Execution
Define and execute a focused transformation roadmap aligned with business priorities, growth objectives, and operational performance needs.
Lead selected cross-functional transformation programs from opportunity identification through implementation and benefit realization.
Establish simple governance, milestones, ownership, and executive reporting to ensure progress, alignment, and accountability.
Footprint Optimization, Manufacturing Strategy & Joint Design Manufacturing
Support manufacturing and supply chain footprint definition and optimization to improve cost, quality, service, lead time, resilience, and scalability.
Simplify flows, reduce unnecessary handoffs, and improve the way work moves across sites, suppliers, and functions.
Enable Joint Design Manufacturing initiatives with engineering, sourcing, suppliers, and operations to improve manufacturability, quality, cost, and speed to market.
Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing & Quality
Apply lean, quality management, and continuous improvement methods to simplify processes, remove bottlenecks, and improve execution.
Facilitate value-stream mapping and end-to-end process redesign where it creates meaningful business impact.
Define practical performance measures to track productivity, quality, service, cycle time, and working capital improvements.
Digitalization, Analytics & Process Automation
Promote practical use of digital tools, automation, analytics, dashboards, and self-service capabilities to improve visibility and decision-making.
Partner with IT and business leaders to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and standardize key processes.
Team Development & Change Leadership
Build readiness for change through communication, stakeholder alignment, training, and leader engagement.
Coach teams to adopt new ways of working and strengthen internal capability in transformation, lean, quality, and digital practices.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Success Measures
Measured by delivery of priority transformation initiatives, productivity improvement, process simplification, digital adoption, quality and service improvement, working capital impact, and sustained change adoption.
Education, Experience
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience, including large-scale transformation, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, commercial, or shared services experience; minimum of 5 years supervisory/management experience. Proven ability to implement digital solutions, drive process improvement, influence executive leaders, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ability to lead cross-functional transformation initiatives, influence leaders, and align teams around common priorities.
- Strong understanding of operations, manufacturing, supply chain, sourcing, quality, and business process improvement.
- Experience with lean, continuous improvement, project governance, change management, and performance measurement.
- Comfort using data, digital tools, dashboards, ERP systems, and analytics to support decisions and execution.
- Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and team development skills.
Special Job Requirements:
Requires frequent availability and communication during non-standard business hours to communicate with global team members.
- Must be available for extended, varied work hours based on business need.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP, Power BI or similar analytics tools, lean/Six Sigma certification, transformation program leadership, or manufacturing network optimization preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for most of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard.
May require regular ground travel to other company facilities, suppliers visits
Long-distance or air travel as needed – up to 50% travel
