  • Salary range 004: $73,000 à$ 91,200 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.) 

 ‘Where you will drive value:’ 

  • Lead the creation of SOPs, SSOPs, troubleshooting guides and any other relevant Operator standard works or training tools in collaboration with the local SMEs. Make sure all materials are well updated.

  • Develops technical training curriculum, programs and objectives for plant processes. Make sure all materials are well updated.

  • Actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance.

  • Obtains and/or develops effective training materials using relevant media tools.

  • Build and follow the facility training calendar by making sure employees, new or current, are properly trained through the facility training program - both hands-on training and classroom training. Track all training in a timely fashion, keeping this information organized and continuously up to date.

  • Partner with trainers, supervisors and managers to complete reviews with the trainee to discuss their status within the training program, future training schedule and their performance.

  • Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.

  • Communicate all progress updates to the Operations Training Manager, supervisors and management team on training and when an employee can perform the job on their own.

  • Develop tracking processes for training documentation and make sure we are compliant. Ensure that the documents are accurate, complete, and the work performed is satisfactory.

  • Lead technical training meetings and sessions.

  • Apply learned knowledge of processes involved and production methods.

  • Promote a safe work environment in the facility; help improve overall safety on all shifts through proper training of SOPs.

  • Assist in implementing improvements in safety, quality, and productivity on shift.

  • Participate in company, customer, and third-party audits as needed.

  • Attend all employee meetings as well as training meetings.

‘What will enable you to have an impact:’ 

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as: Communications, Organizational Development, Training and Development, Human Resources Management, etc. preferred.

  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience training employees in a factory and/or classroom setting required.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a food production plant is an asset

  • Minimum three (3) years of writing SOPs and designing and implementing employee development programs preferred.

  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) preferred credential.

  • Lean Six Sigma, change management experience is an asset
