Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of various departments within Better Mortgage.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop appropriate training solutions.
- Create engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and interactive workshops that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops, ensuring participants are actively engaged and able to apply new knowledge effectively.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to ensure training content is relevant, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making data-driven improvements as necessary.
- Mentor and guide junior training staff, providing support in instructional design and delivery methods.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in training and development to incorporate innovative approaches into training initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a combination of operations and training, with a strong emphasis on adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Proven experience in leading training programs within the financial services or mortgage industry is a plus.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
- Proficient in training tools and technologies, including learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, focused on measuring training impact and effectiveness.
