  • Train new hires on company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.
  • Gather and evaluate information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
  • Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training methods and techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future training sessions.

  • Market company training opportunities to employees and provide information on benefits to encourage participation.
  • Inform employees on scheduled training and track their progress.
  • Recommend training materials and methods, order and maintain in-house training equipment and facilities and manage the budget set for training.
  • Lead a team of instructors to design, develop and deliver technical training and development programs for Vertiv Personal.
  • Develop effective working relationships with and consult with key stakeholders to support the continual gathering of information, feedback, and input from them in order drive curriculum development/evolution.
  • Design training programs to ensure training transfer on the job. This includes course pre-work, instructor lecture, hands-on lab exercises, post-work, exams, and on-the-job training plans.
  • Assist to design and develop training strategy for the organization including technical and non-technical, onboarding, refresh training, training for new products and enhancement for existing products, etc.
  • Assist trainers to develop quarterly and annual technical training calendar.
  • Implement a Train-The-Trainer certification program. 
  • Establish technical skill assessment tools to build customized learning programs and curriculums to improve team performance and customer experience.
  • Develop standard work for team learning and development journey.
  • Manage technical learning centers.
  • Apply Adult Learning Theory, eLearning, blended learning methods to improve training effectiveness and students’ learning experience.
  • Develop eLearning strategy for technical training delivery and build up eLearning capability of the team, e.g., webinars, video, self-paced or on-demand learning methods.
  • Leverage Learning Management System (LMS) to house, deploy and track global training initiatives to include certification programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to improve training quality and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain a process to keep track of training records and ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
  • Improve training compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 
  • Can explain and demonstrate in clear understanding manner the operation / show the procedures to the operator.
