Department: Plant Maintenance
Reporting directly to the Plant Operations Manager, the Operations Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of general maintenance activities, from routine tasks to skilled repair, alteration, and modification of buildings, equipment, and facilities. This full-time role will be included in the on-call rotation upon successful completion of managerial evaluation, completed by either the Plant Ops Manager or Director, Plant Operations, and demonstrated competency. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support operational requirements.

- High School graduate preferred

- 2 years experience required

- Valid California Drivers License
Physical Demands:
- Frequent sitting, standing/walking
- Lift/position up to 100 lbs. Push/pull up to 100 lbs of force.
- Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
- Manual dexterity and mobility
- Touch, auditory and visual perception and acuity
- Adequate vocal pitch and volume
- Ability to move quickly
Vision Requirements: Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less, adjust vision to bring objects into focus and to distinguish different colors

- Regularly exposed to the risk of contagious and blood borne diseases
- Subject to varying and unpredictable situations
- Exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, illness)
