The Operations Support Coordinator serves as administrative, functional, and technical support for the Business Unit. This role will be critical in ensuring proper transaction execution, reconciliation and inventory accuracy. SAP experience is required.

Job Description:

Position Responsibilities:

• Have a vast and in-depth understanding of both physical inventory and warehouse management systems. 
• Possess an understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes and concepts
• Perform daily data entry of production activity
• Be able to execute and explain data
• Report on key metrics
• Consistently work with a team on improvement
• Assist in the execution of sustainable processes for production and warehouse execution
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts
• Ensure all documentation for Production Execution are created, released, and printed on time
• Assist in identifying process and operational gaps and identifying solutions
• Be able to provide training
• Correct and assist in the correction of errors
• POP packet completion and reconciliation
• Receive material from production locations (returns, breakdown)
• Stock material (receive, label, put-away)
• Perform inventory counts (raw, packaging (including labels), finished goods)
• Proper staging of for production (paperwork, material set-up)
• Perform Daily Housekeeping
• Support food safety, quality, and legality
• Support and comply with all continuous improvement programs, food safety, quality management systems, employee safety, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Execute all other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school or equivalent
• Self-motivated and disciplined individual to perform a wide variety of duties related to material data
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Must be able to work and support nights and weekends as required.
• Must be able to operate in an environment with daily changing plans
• Inventory management and warehouse operations experience preferred
• Must have previous SAP experience
