About this role:

We are seeking an On-site Operations Support Manager – a builder who will play a key role in forming a new team at individual Distribution Centers and establishing consistent standards across multiple FORTNA departments.

This role is focused on building the team from the ground up, including mentoring, hiring, process setup, and structured training. The manager will be responsible for creating and standardizing practices related to CMMS management, spare parts, and maintenance planning, while ensuring full compliance with safety requirements.

The successful candidate is expected to provide strategic recommendations and build a scalable, long-term on-site operations support model across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages department activities and results according to strategy.
  • Leads, coaches, and develops employees.
  • Collaborates on operational and tactical activities.
  • Optimizes processes to achieve goals.
  • Monitors industry developments and proposes improvements.
  • Advises senior management.
  • Ensures alignment with stakeholders.
  • Prepares and adjusts the team/department's budget.
  • Connects teams for synergies and collaboration.
  • Makes budget-aligned decisions that improve the team.
  • Creates and manages KPIs and management reports.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of team leadership experience.
  • Team-oriented professional.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical background is advantage.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in Czech and English.
  • Flexible to travel.
