The Operations Support Manager plays a vital role in overseeing offshore operations and project delivery. This position requires a strong understanding of client requirements, safety protocols, and technical expertise to coordinate resources and maximize performance. The Specialist will work closely with various teams, from Project Managers, Engineers to QA, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Review client contracts and offshore work scopes to identify key deliverables and potential risks.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of client Scope of Work and align execution strategies accordingly.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Project Engineers, Project Managers, and QA, to ensure effective collaboration.
Select and manage qualified offshore personnel, ensuring compliance with certifications and safety standards.
Oversee equipment testing and certification, ensuring all tools and machinery are fit for offshore use.
Coordinate logistics for offshore operations, including travel arrangements, accommodation, and visa procurement.
Lead pre-mobilization meetings and risk assessments to mitigate potential challenges and ensure a smooth project start.
Capture and analyse client feedback to continuously improve offshore operations and client satisfaction.
Support invoicing processes by compiling and organizing project documentation.
Maintain a high level of safety awareness and promote a culture of quality and efficiency within the team.
NOTE: This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.
