The Support & Operations Engineer (ePTO) provides technical leadership and drives continuous improvement of infrastructure, tooling, and support processes to ensure reliable global delivery of digital products, with a primary focus on ePTO.
You will collaborate closely with the ePTO team (Product Manager, System Engineers), regional support teams, development teams, and business units to ensure high availability, strong service quality, and effective incident management. You will also support the global rollouts, assist with customer field tests, and resolve region-reported issues.
Success in this role requires good IT & electronics understanding, strong communication, structured problem-solving, sound decision-making, and a hands-on, customer-focused mindset.
In addition, you will support incidents on the Digital Platform, which enables connected products and serves as a fleet management platform for our customers.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

ePTO Readiness & Scalability

  • Provide support to stakeholders on ePTO-related topics, focusing on software and electrical connections
  • Deliver customer-centric insights to support business decisions
  • Lead initiatives to improve scalability and operability of ePTO products
  • Develop and maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials
  • Support onboarding of customers and assets to the Digital Platform
  • Drive continuous improvement of operational processes

Digital Products 3rd Line Support and Training

  • Provide 3rd-line support for digital products (e.g., DTS)
  • Train and support global, regional, and local service teams
  • Support the rollout of new products and feature enhancements

Issue Resolution and Avoidance

  • Analyze recurring issues in collaboration with development teams
  • Resolve complex, high-priority incidents using structured methodologies
  • Act as a key contributor in post-incident reviews and drive improvements
  • Proactively identify operational risks and implement preventive measures
     
Role Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong affinity with IoT, electrification, and commercial vehicles
  • Hands-on experience with Linux-based embedded systems  
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Certified or willing to be certified on high voltage systems
  • Strong analytical and solution-driven
  • Clear communicator with strong writing abilities
  • Organized, team-oriented, proactive, and able to perform under pressure
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional and remote teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills
