In this role, you will be the senior operational member of the Real Estate Management Team in the day-to-day operation of 161 Bay - TD Place, reporting to the General Manager.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

Team Management

• Oversee a team of 3 Building Operators

Capital Planning

•Budget, Plan and Execute Capital Projects

•Work with CBRE/Brookfield on Complex Decarbonization Plan

Maintaining and update of Building Condition Report

•Oversee Audit Reviews of Complex

Budgeting & Reforecasting

•Provide guidance on Capital Spending

•Provide budgeting guidance on operational expenses

•Provide guidance on monthly accruals

Operational Management

•Operational liaison for 161 Bay Tower to CBRE/Brookfield (who manage complex physical plant)

•Oversee 161 Bay specific operational contracts (Elevator, Cleaning and Window Cleaning and others)

•Management of PM Program (Angus) and multi-year maintenance plan

•Prime contact for CBRE/Brookfield on Security

•Work with risk management on insurance related issues

•Available if needed for weekend shutdown or emergency events

•Oversee Health & Safety Committee

•Key member of Emergency Management Team

•Consult with National Operations & Sustainability Team on all initiatives

•Review all Telecom Riser Room requests

•Work with Construction manager & CBRE reviewing Tenant buildouts

Operational and Information Technology

•Site level contact for all building technology (Base Building Network, Operational Technology & Cyber Security Standards Management)

Hospitality and Customer Management
•Be a team leader in delivering on Oxford’s culture of Hospitality, maintaining "World Class" customer relationships through anticipating, personalizing and building connections with customers and clients
 

To succeed in this role, you have:
• Preferable to possess a secondary degree or diploma in building science, mechanical or electrical engineering.

•A minimum of 3-5 years of operational experience in a high-rise office tower.

•Building Environment Systems certification or BOMI equivalent SMA/FMA/RPA an asset

• Possess experience with electrical, mechanical systems including HVAC and life safety systems.

•A high level of understanding of tenant building construction design and build outs.

•Familiarity with LEED EB submissions, BOMA Best and BOMA Certificate of Excellence

•Ability to understand and execute energy saving projects.

•Proficiency with building management systems and software (e.g., Angus PM, Oxfordmaxxsupport.com).

•Commitment to Health & Safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

•Strong Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office required
•Strong interpersonal skills for working successfully with team and customers
 


This posting is for an existing vacancy.
The expected salary range for this position is $86,000 to $106,000.

You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
