Pay Range: $70,447.00 - $93,923.00

Responsible for the supervision of direct reports and ensures the timely execution of the transactions/ processes of the team. Leads daily production tasks to meet quality and service level expectations. Acts independently on most daily decisions.
Maintains effective communication with other departments in order to maintain workflow standards and support escalated customer issues and questions. Works directly with department manager to administer short- and long-term goals for the department. Assures that appropriate procedures are developed and implemented which support the bank’s objectives and ensure regulatory compliance.

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree and 3 years’ experience required. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Department specific experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must possess analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong current background within department subject matter, including state and governmental regulations that relate to department.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to multi-task on numerous projects simultaneously
  • Ability to promote and maintain cooperation between departments
  • Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Electronic Mail, Internet, and systems utilized in the department
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide coaching and training.
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on department procedures and guidelines

Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:

  • Must complete continuing education which includes but is not limited to attending seminars, training made available by outside companies related to the department and online training made available by department management.

Tasks Performed:

  • 40%Provide daily oversight of complex duties assigned to team, which include but are not limited to:  Processing a variety of complex monetary/non-monetary transactions as assigned, providing guidance to teammates on complex functions, resolving complex exception items, interacting with vendors and project teams. Complete higher-level tasks on the team requiring analysis, independent judgement and decision making. Recommend new methods and procedures to make daily operations more efficient. Complete performance reports for work performed by direct reports that includes production and service level.
  • 25%Train, coach, develop and oversee direct reports.  Establish individual goals and assist in the hiring and onboarding of direct reports. 
  • 15% Maintain proficient knowledge of and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position. Ensures ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls.  Ongoing focus on risk and fraud mitigation.
  • 10% Analyze workflow and make decisions regarding assignment of tasks to ensure team meets service level standards under normal conditions.
  • 5% Ensure procedures used by team members are current and accurate.  
  • 4% Other duties as assigned.
