Travel Consultants are the heart of Amex GBT and provide outstanding service to our corporate business clients. As a Team Operations Lead, you’ll support our Travel Consultants and ensure they have everything they need to support their clients.

Every day in this role is different and requires a balance between analytical and communication skills. You’ll need to solve problems, see through processes, and communicate with partners throughout different parts of the organization to advocate for Travel Consultants and travelers.

What You’ll Do

  • Support roll-out of new technology, trainings, and account implementation by coordinating data, organizing pilot groups, training consultants, providing feedback, and communicating with team members

  • Collaborate with team coach and workforce management team to achieve excellent service levels and avoid financial impact for clients

  • Communicate business updates that impact operations, like process changes, annual leave expectations, and system outages

  • Assist in onboarding new and returning colleagues, and ensure all colleagues have the tools they need to successfully work from home

  • Collaborate with HR to manage flexible work agreement requests, create and close user groups in the HR system, and ensure HR system data is accurate

  • Collaborate with workforce management to optimize FTEs

  • Raise any technology issues that impact clients. For example: Outlook outages, GDD itinerary or invoice errors, etc.

  • Lead business continuity plan for the supported traveler care teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with change management

  • Thrives working independently AND as part of a team

  • Experience working with industry tools and systems preferred

The US national base salary range for this position is from 

$55,300.00 - $102,700.00

The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role.  Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus which rewards participants based on individual and/or company performance.
