Operations Supervisor

Reports to: Boutique Director

Role Overview

An Operations Supervisor is an ambassador of the Maison, responsible for ensuring a seamless client journey by maintaining operational excellence and precision in inventory management. The Operations Supervisor is an essential partner to store leadership, able to influence an inspiring and motivating team environment that is supported by an efficient and evolving operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • As a member of the store leadership team, motivate and empower an environment of teamwork to maintain collaboration within the store, between stores, and with business partners.

  • Lead by example and enable a client-centric environment, serving as a role model for current and future leadership.

  • Be fully integrated into the store team, participating in morning briefings and contributing to achieving the overall objectives of the store.

Inventory & Stockroom Management

  • Uphold inventory management standards, influencing an organized and efficient work environment while ensuring ongoing accuracy of stock.

  • Maintain stock inventory in perfect condition, ensuring efficient and logical organization of all stock rooms (product and packaging).

  • Prioritize stockroom safety, creating a professional and compliant environment for employees and vendors.

  • Optimize stockroom and sales floor preshow/understock space to ensure merchandise is easily accessible and offers a seamless client experience.

  • Check the quality and conformity of all products delivered.

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Manage store logistics, overseeing stock deliveries from central warehouse, domestic and international stock transfers, and stock issued for commercial activities (consignments, trunk shows, photo shoots, etc.).

  • Manage delivery operations, preparing and replenishing stock quickly and accurately.

  • Guarantee returns, shop-to-shop transfers, and logistical activities, respecting deadlines.

  • Improve product availability by interacting with supply chain and managing product requests to answer client needs.

  • Ensure client repairs and refurbishment are delivered on schedule, impacting customer service.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Maintain store supplies order management, contributing to the operating expenses of the store.

  • Monitor store maintenance and manage stationery, uniforms, and kitchen supplies.

  • Follow internal Audit guidelines and company policies and procedures.

Client Experience

  • Ensure the right products are available on the sales floor to improve store efficiency and maximize client experience.

  • Develop and maintain the highest Brand and product knowledge.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience in retail sales and operations.

  • 2+ years' management or supervisory experience.

  • Experience ideally in the Retail luxury sector with a high affinity for luxury products.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and follow-through competencies.

  • Strong organization, task-management, and logistics skill set.

  • Competent computer skills (e.g., SAP, Excel, Word).

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to lift up to 20lb boxes.

Expected Hourly Range: $26.00 - $30.00

Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
