Iron Mountain is seeking an strategic Operations Supervisor to join our Transportation Operations team.
As a frontline leader in Bloomington, MN, you will have the opportunity to directly influence the daily execution of our courier operations and route efficiency. Your leadership will drive team performance and maintain rigorous safety standards, ensuring our customers' critical shipments are delivered reliably every day.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) In this role, you will:
Workforce Leadership & Coaching: Provide daily oversight to courier and coordinator teams, managing staffing levels, recruiting, training, performance reviews, and payroll processing.
Operational Excellence & Route Management: Track daily route progress using routing technology and scanning platforms to proactively resolve workflow variances and optimize delivery performance.
Fleet & Compliance Administration: Oversee the DVIR/BDIR processes and partner with outsourced vendors to ensure fleet vehicles are safely maintained in accordance with prescribed standards.
Safety, Security & Regulatory Reporting: Enforce organizational safety procedures while establishing workflows to consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly DOT and IFTA requirements.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) The ideal candidate will have:
2–4 years of experience in transportation, courier logistics, or supply chain operations.
Manage up to 17 employees
Strong knowledge of DOT/IFTA compliance, routing technologies, scanning platforms, and fleet maintenance procedures.
Proven ability in frontline team leadership, operational problem-solving, and managing performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.
High School Diploma required; a 4-year college degree is preferred.
In-depth familiarity with the local geographic area and customer base, along with a willingness for up to 10% in-market travel.
