Job Description

  • Review, recommend, report, and implement programs to ensure that the project meets contractual obligations and compliance issues.
  • Review files, and approve eligibility, suitability and vouchers.
  • Drive enrollments and participation from team
  • Analyze processes and procedures to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and policies related to welfare and workforce programs.
  • Coordinate training activities to ensure that all operations staff are properly trained to implement project activities effectively.
  • Define and set operational goals and directing/delegating staff responsibilities to meet and/or exceed these goals.
  • Facilitate meetings with partners to promote full and frequent communication
  • Review staff performance and recommend corrective action as needed
  • Attend committee meetings
  • Understand all technical aspects of the operation
  • Participate in development and maintenance of standard operating procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in management, organizational development, project management, business administration, or similar field is required
  • Knowledge of workforce development programs (Workforce Investment Act/Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) is preferred
  • Self-motivated and flexible team player with the ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, human resource management, and communication skills.
  • Experience organizing, planning, and developing program operations at a supervisory level.
  • Driver’s license in good standing
  • Valid automobile insurance.
