Job Description- Review, recommend, report, and implement programs to ensure that the project meets contractual obligations and compliance issues.
- Review files, and approve eligibility, suitability and vouchers.
- Drive enrollments and participation from team
- Analyze processes and procedures to optimize performance and productivity.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and policies related to welfare and workforce programs.
- Coordinate training activities to ensure that all operations staff are properly trained to implement project activities effectively.
- Define and set operational goals and directing/delegating staff responsibilities to meet and/or exceed these goals.
- Facilitate meetings with partners to promote full and frequent communication
- Review staff performance and recommend corrective action as needed
- Attend committee meetings
- Understand all technical aspects of the operation
- Participate in development and maintenance of standard operating procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in management, organizational development, project management, business administration, or similar field is required
- Knowledge of workforce development programs (Workforce Investment Act/Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) is preferred
- Self-motivated and flexible team player with the ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, human resource management, and communication skills.
- Experience organizing, planning, and developing program operations at a supervisory level.
- Driver’s license in good standing
- Valid automobile insurance.
