EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Specialist in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position falls within our Manufacturing Operations Facility located in Germantown, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Use SAP software to process and confirm picks, deliveries and sales orders.
- Review and take action on multiple daily shipping reports.
- Pack domestic and international sales orders.
- Create shipping labels for small package outbound UPS and FEDEX.
- Pick, process and load palletized truck load orders.
- Monitor and initiate requisitions for shipping supplies as warranted.
- Interact with internal customers (Business Groups) to fulfill their sales order demands and provide status updates.
- Contact freight companies for pick-ups.
Basic Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Forklift Certification
Essential Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to climb ladders.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong PC skills, including the ability to learn new software applications.
- Experience with SAP is preferred
- Previous warehouse and/or outbound shipment experience
The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.

Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $43,500.00 - $62,000.00
