The Role

Job Description

As an Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our revenue processes and supporting the success of our portfolio. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple departments, ensuring seamless revenue operations and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

You will be responsible for working closely with the sales and customer success teams to align efforts, and using data and analytics to measure and improve performance.

You’ll zoom out to offer strategic insights and zoom in to enhance the performance of our customer-facing teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in revenue operations, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the sales and customer success processes (ideally in a SaaS company).


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the revenue operations process, from lead generation to customer acquisition and retention.

  • Work closely with the sales, marketing and Customer Success teams to align efforts for projects and initiatives related to Revenue Operations, including system implementations, migrations, and upgrades.

  • Use data and analytics to measure and improve performance, including tracking key metrics such as lead conversion and retention rates; provide actionable insights for sales and customer success teams.

  • Identify and resolve challenges and issues within the revenue operations systems and processes with the goal of improving the client experience while driving productivity, scalability, and revenue.

  • Provide training and support to team members on revenue operations technology (tools), procedures and best practices.

  • Build ad-hoc dashboards and reports to support operational teams by giving them visibility and useful insights.

  • Data management and governance across the RevOps ecosystem, including auditing and cleaning up data.



Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate or possess the following:

  • Knowledge of the sales and Customer Success processes and the company’s target audience and goals;

  • Background in sales operations and/or revenue-related roles within the SaaS space (at least 2-3 years experience desired)

  • Desire to learn and grow in the revenue operations field, and a willingness to continuously improve and develop skills.

  • Strategic mindset, coupled with strong technical skills in revenue-related systems and a willingness to dive into the details and execute tactical tasks.

Technical Skills:

  • CRM: SalesForce (required), Hubspot (desired) [experience in either using, configuring and/or managing]

  • Data visualization tools: Tableau / Looker Studio / Superset (desired)

  • SQL (required), Python (desired)

  • Data analytics and KPIs monitoring (required)


Soft Skills:

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects, problem solving.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team and across the organization.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to change: familiarity with evolving business requirements and a proactive drive to continually develop your skills, enhance team processes, and reduce inefficiencies.
