To ensure accurate, timely, and compliant end-to-end post-trade processing of Over-The-Counter (OTC) derivatives within the Operations function. You are responsible for managing critical lifecycle events, executing daily reconciliations, and supporting seamless trade affirmation and pricing processes. By maintaining strong controls and operational resilience, you safeguard financial and client data integrity while providing responsive support to Front Office, Risk, Compliance, and cross-functional stakeholders. You will also play a key supportive role in system enhancements, product rollouts, and strategic initiatives, contributing to operational efficiency and risk mitigation across the operational value chain.

YOUR CHALLENGE
  • Ensuring post-trade processing for Over-The-Counter (OTC) derivatives, including interest rate swaps (IRS), total return swaps (TRS), inflation swaps (IFS), and Credit Default Swaps (CDS), as well as equity and bond options

  • End-to-end handling and oversight of lifecycle events, including coupon payments, corporate actions, option exercises and assignment processing

  • Daily position and cash reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy and operational integrity

  • Trade confirmation matching ( affirmation ) with counterparties, ensuring alignment across front and back office

  • Monitoring and processing of price feeds and fixings for interest rate and inflation-linked products

  • Monitoring of payment schedules and execution of payments

  • Responding to operational queries and ad-hoc requests from key stakeholders, including Trading Desks, Relationship Managers, and other Operations teams

  • Providing business support during testing, rollout, and implementation of new products, system releases, and strategic projects

YOUR PROFILE
  • Strong expertise in OTC Derivative products is essential; knowledge of Exchange-Traded-Derivatives (ETD) is a plus

  • Solid risk management skills, with the ability to monitor risk positions and implement mitigation strategies

  • Foundational understanding of regulatory requirements, such as FinfraG and EMIR

  • Strong affinity for process analysis and continuous improvement

  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Banking apprenticeship or similar education in the finance industry

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Fluent in both German and English (each at C1 level)

  • System know-how in derivative tools is an advantage
