BAE Systems' Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area is seeking an experienced Operations Program Manager to provide support for the Terminal High Area Altitude Defense (THAAD) Missile Seeker, an Infrared (IR) program.
The Operations Program Manager will oversee and support the THAAD portfolio, including Sustainment, development, production, and proposals. Responsibilities include facilitating collaboration across multiple teams, including program management, quality, engineering, NPI, supply chain, and factory management, to ensure seamless operations execution, and meeting customer requirements.

The job requires a highly experienced professional with a broad level of experience, including development, sustainment and production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, scheduling, risk management, and proposal strategy with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline (preferred) and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Active secret clearance
  • Experience setting the strategy for proposals and writing BOE's
  • Cost Account Manager for operations labor and material on both externally reported Earned Value programs and Unit Production Cost (UPC) programs. Manages operations performance against the baseline program plan by monitoring quality, schedule, and cost performance
  • Create, monitor and status the operations content for the resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Perform monthly Estimate at Complete (EAC) for the operations function
  • Work closely with the factory and production OPM to coordinate and monitor builds in support of sustainment and development schedules
  • Create and manage the Risk & Opportunity database (IRIS) for operations
  • Ability to lead in a cross-functional IPT team environment, with a customer-focused approach, and an aptitude for continuous improvement in serving both internal and external customers
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills for both internal and external customers
  • Ability to provide strategic contributions while successfully executing on tactical objectives

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Degree in an Engineer discipline
  • BAE Systems EVMS Certified
  • Proficient in leading proposals for operations labor and material
  • Experience working on an EVMS Development Program
  • Knowledge and/or experience with AS9145/APQP
  • Proficiency in office technologies including MS Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint; Visio
  • Proficiency with continuous process improvement methodologies and tool; strong group facilitation skills

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
