Job Description Summary

The Operations Product Specialist is responsible for the implementation and optimization of processes and infrastructure to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and timely execution of product operations. This role partners closely with Information Technology teams to support process improvements, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation initiatives. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data, assessing operational risk performance, identifying potential risks, and recommending actionable improvements to enhance product offerings. The role may also involve applying foundational technology concepts, such as data structures and database design, to support informed decision-making and effective collaboration across functions.

This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 3 per week averaging 12 days per month in one of the following locations: St. Petersburg, FL, Memphis, TN , or Southfield, MI.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define, deliver, and adapt specialized financial products that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems
  • Deliver defined features, functionality, or outcomes from a designated part of the development or engineering program
  • Execute product testing, including end-to-end and integration testing, to validate functionality, performance, and system interactions
  • Operate in a tools and technology-driven environment, leveraging testing frameworks and QA tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Identify, document, and support resolution of defects in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Supervise others working within established operational systems
  • Monitor all aspects of a product life cycle, including development and marketing, to maintain competitive positioning
  • Analyze product performance, customer behavior, and market trends to identify improvement opportunities

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Data Processing, or High School
  • 3 to 6 years general professional experience
  • Experience defining and delivering financial product features and lifecycle management
  • Experience executing end-to-end and integration product testing
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and QA tools
  • Foundational technical knowledge (data structures, database design) to collaborate with IT
  • Ability to analyze data trends, customer behavior, and market analysis to drive product improvements
