Summary
The Operations Planning Analyst will directly support senior management in ensuring flight schedules are achievable with Allegiant’s operation. The Analyst will achieve operational feasibility through conducting routine scheduling processes, analyzing flight schedules, collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvements, and providing senior management with the insight necessary to address systemic issues affecting the airline's operative performance. This individual will interact internally with Allegiant's Stations, Operational Control Center, and Maintenance leaders to identify widespread obstacles and opportunities while developing tactical initiatives to improve performance. The Analyst will manage the relationship between the various stakeholders and planning departments. This position must help balance the revenue interests of a flight schedule with the operational requirements to effectively reduce costs and maximize performance opportunities.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree with finance, economics, computer science, mathematics, or related fields.

•Ability to assess emergency situations in a timely manner, exercising good judgment, flexibility, and ability to respond calmly and effectively.

•Visual Basic / SQL programming.
•Airline / flight scheduling experience.
Job Duties
•Develop and manage analytical tools to help operational agents quickly pin-point areas of improvement opportunities.
•Develop predictive analytical tools to identify operational opportunities.
•Provide in-depth analysis of the flight schedule, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and communicate finds with senior management.
•Ability to work with cross-functional groups in a collaborative environment.
•Serve as liaison between stakeholders and planning/scheduling departments to develop future flight schedules that optimize revenue while meeting operational capabilities.
•Serve as a subject matter expert on the scheduling processes, tools, and information as well as functionality.
•Conduct various flight scheduling processes.
•Analyze historical data to explain operational trends and identifies improvement opportunities.
•Manage time effectively to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
•Perform a variety of tasks and ad-hoc analysis.
•Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
•Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
