Responsible for understanding customer demand and the fulfillment centers operational capacity in order to develop an operational labor plan with the lowest cost to serve. Lead and conduct day to day headcount planning. Analyze large sets of data to determine the most efficient utilization of manpower and equipment for hub and spoke sheds to meet customer demand. Responsibilities- Lead day-to-day headcount planning; set up routes in the system and determine number of drivers needed and number of routes based on customer demand and data forecasting
- Analyze large data sets to accurately forecast customer demand based upon historical and seasonal trends and utilize data insights to determine site labor costs, equipment usage, and other business needs
- Lead interpretation of data to be used in decision making regarding labor planning for 500+ drivers at hub shed and spoke locations
- Understand fulfilment center dependencies and workforce utilization by department in order to develop daily labor plans based upon forecasted demand
- Balance driver schedules in a �Hub & Spoke Model' in order to optimize driver KPIs such as on-time delivery, reduced miles, and orders per hour
- Analyze live customer demand and react to last-minute changes such as sudden changes in demand, weather changes or operational capacity constraints and provide guidance on any potential labor or scheduling impacts
