Dexis Professional Services is seeking Operations Planners to support a potential opportunity with the Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa based in Stuttgart, Germany and/or Naples, Italy.
The Operations Planner will support the AC/S for Operations (G3), or the AC/S for and Plans (G5), and provides functional expertise in the review, refinement, coordination, development, and publication of operations orders related to the manning, organization, deployment, mission assurance, employment, support, sustainment, and redeployment of Marine forces in support of crisis response and contingency operations and/or coordinates military-to-military and security cooperation exercises, activities, and events.
Responsibilities
- Provides the headquarters staff with subject matter expertise related to one or more of the following functional areas: ground operations, aviation operations, amphibious operations, fires, pre-positioning operations, non-combatant evacuation (NEO) operations, communications, communications strategy and public affairs, force protection, CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) defense, logistics, intelligence, manning, preventive medicine, RSO&I (reception, staging, onward movement, and integration), strategic mobility, training, JOPES, and general military planning in the decision making process.
- Maintains appropriate entries in the Command and Control Information Environment (C2IE).
- Reviews, refines, coordinates, and develops military operations orders related to the manning, organization, deployment, mission assurance, employment, support, sustainment, and redeployment of Marine forces in support of crisis response and contingency operations.
- Plans and coordinates military-to-military activities.
- Plans and coordinates security cooperation events.
- Plans and coordinates multi- and bi-lateral service component (Title 10) exercises.
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of directly related military experience; OR 15 years of directly related military experience.
- Possesses a US Secret or higher-level clearance and a valid passport.
- At least three (3) Operational Planners shall have a US TS clearance with SCI access eligibility.
- Has completed Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I.
- Must be able and willing to travel anywhere in the EUCOM and AFRICOM Areas of Responsibility.
- Must be able and willing to travel frequently (may be up to 25%).
- Must be able to work extended hours in support of exercise requirements.
- Must be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing, and able to brief senior military leaders.
- Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
