What you’ll be doing 

As an Operations Performance Manager, you will serve as the operational right-hand to the Director of Operations, providing leadership over operational systems, workforce management administration, recurring operational reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional performance analytics. The role transforms operational data into actionable insights, identifies root causes of performance issues, drives process improvements, and ensures recurring operational deliverables are completed accurately and on time. Working closely with department leaders, this position improves organizational effectiveness while allowing the Director of Operations to focus on strategic priorities, leadership, and organizational growth. 

In this role, you will: 

  • Serve as the system owner and administrator for the organization's workforce management platform, including configuration, maintenance, user administration, troubleshooting, vendor management, testing, upgrades, and optimization. 

  • Own recurring operational reporting calendars, ensuring all cyclical weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports are completed accurately and delivered on time. 

  • Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and automated reports that provide meaningful operational visibility. 

  • Continuously analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities, presenting actionable recommendations to the Director of Operations. 

  • Lead operational process improvement initiatives by documenting workflows, identifying inefficiencies, recommending scalable solutions, and coordinating implementation. 

  • Monitor organizational performance metrics and proactively flag operational issues before they become larger problems. 

  • Conduct operational audits and data validation to ensure data integrity across systems. 

  • Partner with department managers to collect, analyze, and synthesize operational information into executive-level recommendations. 

  • Coordinate cross-functional operational projects and follow up on action items to ensure completion. 

  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures, documentation, reporting guides, and system workflows. 

  • Research operational best practices, technology solutions, automation opportunities, and AI-enabled efficiencies. 

  • Provide project management support for strategic operational initiatives. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field preferred. 

Skills 

  • 2+ years supporting operations, analytics, systems administration, project management, or continuous improvement. 

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred. 

  • Experience administering enterprise software platforms. 

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. 

  • Ability to translate data into operational recommendations. 

  • Lean Six Sigma or process improvement experience/certification preferred. 

Other Requirements 

  • 21 years of age or older 

  • A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record are required for this role. 

  • This role requires travel within the region where services are provided. 

  • Final candidates must successfully complete a background check. 

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment 

This position requires the employee to regularly stand, walk, sit, talk and hear. The employee must be capable of writing, using a computer keyboard, telephone and related office equipment. Ability to lift 10lbs. required.
