is currently hiring an Operations Officer responsible for coordinating NCFT participation in Army Modernization and Equipping Conferences. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to a wide range of staff and audiences, and a deep understanding of the DOTML PF framework. The Operations Officer will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, synchronize major Army Futures Command events, plan actions and milestone glidepaths, and ensure seamless coordination of staff actions across all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate NCFT Participation: Ensure the successful participation of NCFT in Army Modernization and Equipping Conferences, including logistics, materials, and personnel.
  • Effective Communication: Present information and reports orally and in writing to various staff and audiences, maintaining clarity and professionalism.
  • DOTML PF Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of the DOTML PF framework to guide decision-making and planning processes.
  • Staff Coordination: Coordinate staff actions both internally and externally, fostering collaboration and information sharing.
  • Event Synchronization: Synchronize major Army Futures Command events to align with NCFT goals and objectives.
  • Planning and Milestones: Develop action plans and milestone glidepaths to achieve NCFT objectives within specified timelines.
  • Senior Leader Engagement: Work closely with Army Senior Leaders to provide updates and support their needs.
  • After Action Reports: Prepare after-action reports to evaluate the outcomes of events and activities.
  • Operational View Charts: Understand and utilize operational view charts to enhance decision-making.
  • Battle Rhythm Meetings: Participate in and contribute to internal meetings to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Working Group Support: Develop working group guides, build agendas, and lead NCFT meetings to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Milestone Decision Points: Maintain and track reporting of milestone decision points to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Long-Range Calendar: Assist in building and maintaining a long-range calendar to plan and schedule upcoming activities.
  • Sitreps and SigActs: Prepare situation reports (sitreps) and significant activities (SigActs) to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Exum and Activity Review: Review upcoming activities and provide insights to enhance planning and execution.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, communications, or a related field. 3 years experience in lieu of degree
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (master’s preferred)
  • Prior experience in operations or event coordination, preferably within a military background
  • Strong understanding of the DOTML PF framework
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience providing administrative, program-management, project-coordination, or business-operations support
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience preparing reports, briefings, meeting minutes, correspondence, and program documentation
  • Experience tracking schedules, deliverables, action items, and project status
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with limited supervision
  • Ability to work effectively with Government customers, technical teams, company leadership, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to protect sensitive information and comply with applicable security and document-handling requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the position

Compensation: 60-70k (DOE)
