Operations Manager

We are searching for an experienced and self-driven Operations Manager. Reporting to our Head of Operations, you will work to manage and optimize the general operations of Aptos Labs. This is a highly visible role and will partner closely with executive leadership across all verticals of the company (i,.e., Business Development, People Operations, Marketing, Ecosystem, Legal and more). This position is US-based, hybrid and requires in-person touchpoints with the Head of Ops (based in Chicago) at least twice a month.

• Operational Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and scalability within our company
• Resource Management: Work closely with our Head of Finance to manage resources effectively, including infrastructure, network resources, and human capital, to support growth and sustainability
• Collaborate with business lines (BD, ecosystem and marketing) to optimize and help set & track clear KPIs to measure success; build a robust review framework to determine continuation or stopping of existing partnerships
• Collaborate with the People Operations Manager to streamline existing HR policies and procedures, track their effectiveness, identify potential gaps, and ensure they are promptly and effectively addressed, fostering a supportive and productive work environment
• Liaise with our recruiting team to streamline recruitment operations, refine processes, and implement best practices to reduce time-to-fill roles, ensure alignment with compensation benchmarks, and attract top talent effectively, optimizing the company's human capital acquisition strategy
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within our operational processes and implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate them.

• Operational Expertise: Strong background in operations management, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in optimizing operational processes and resource management or 3+ years at an MBB/management consulting with strong PMO experience
• Industry Experience: Knowledge and strong interest of web3/blockchain preferred but not mandatory
• Cross functional: Proven internal stakeholder engagement and management experience with high EQ, communications and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and have challenging conversations with executives across the organization
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and often changing environment, adapt quickly and switch gears when new challenges arise
• Deep experience with people data analytics; ability to influence with data
