Way Mechanical is a Mechanical Contractor located in San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, Nashville, and Houston. Way is looking for an Operations Manager to lead and be responsible for the operations team. We specialize in installation of commercial air conditioning, plumbing, piping, and the maintenance of these systems. Way Mechanical is at the forefront of design build/design assist, preconstruction, commissioning, building information modeling (BIM), and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of commercial HVAC and plumbing projects from planning to execution.
- Monitor project budgets, ensure costs are controlled, and deviations are addressed promptly.
- Lead and mentor project teams, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, approve invoices, and manage financial risks.
- Oversee project schedules, resources, and coordination with contractors, ensuring on-time completion and compliance with regulations.
- Enforce OSHA standards, conduct safety audits, and maintain a zero-incident workplace.
- Serve as the primary client contact, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials and equipment for project efficiency.
- Ensure installations meet design specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- 7-10 years of HVAC/plumbing experience, 5+ in management.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC/plumbing systems and building codes.
- Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with construction management software.
