Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will oversee daily production operations at our Macon, Missouri facility, home to the production of Healthy Choice and Marie Callender’s products. You will guide production execution, support production planning, and sustain improvements through disciplined operating practices, standard work, and autonomous maintenance. You will coordinate production departments and partner across Human Resources, Continuous Improvement, and Quality to support a safe, efficient environment that delivers high‑quality products.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
Implement the plant‑specific vision to support continuous improvement and align with Conagra’s broader objectives.
Direct Production Managers and Production Supervisors in their daily responsibilities and long‑term development.
Promote employee engagement and development to support manufacturing, quality, and productivity goals.
Communicate results and action plans to employees and leadership.
Temporarily fulfill the role of Plant Manager when required.
Collaborate with production planning and materials management to enhance schedule compliance and customer service.
Contract interpretation and union interaction.
Partner with Human Resources to address and resolve employee issues or concerns.
Work with Finance to support development of the capital budget and ensure financial commitments are met.
Initiate cost‑saving measures related to staffing, standards, and yields.
Ensure plant operations are conducted in a safe, controlled environment.
Ensure compliance with all quality and regulatory standards, specifications, and policies.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, Management, Product Operations, or a related field.
5 to 7 years of manufacturing experience; food manufacturing experience is beneficial.
3 to 5 years of management or supervisory experience.
Food industry experience in a union environment.

Compensation
Pay Range:$107,000-$156,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
