Operations Manager

Location: Abilene, TX

We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead daily operations at our distribution center. This role oversees delivery execution, site operations, safety compliance, and customer service. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can drive performance, develop teams, and deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations including deliveries, fleet coordination, inventory, and DOT compliance

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer issues and ensure timely resolution

  • Respond to and manage delivery incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Lead driver performance reviews and support safety and compliance initiatives

  • Partner with Sales and leadership to meet customer demand and operational goals

  • Support hiring, training, and development of drivers and staff

  • Monitor performance metrics and identify process improvements

  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, DOT regulations, and company standards

  • Maintain accurate records and operational reporting

Requirements

  • Must live within 60 miles of the terminal

  • 2+ years of operations leadership experience (fuel, lubricant, or industrial distribution preferred)

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Experience managing teams, customer relationships, and field operations

  • Ability to travel and work weekends or overtime as needed

Preferred

  • Bilingual
