This position reports to:
Business Manager - E2E__
In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee the operational aspects of local units, encompassing the full scope of Operations, including project management and control, project engineering, manufacturing, production engineering, maintenance, procurement, quality, continuous improvement, logistics, and planning and fulfillment, or a part of that. Each day, you will be responsible for developing business action plans for the units, aligned with business area/division/product group strategy and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring strict adherence within the Operations with respect to policies and required health, safety, and integrity standards.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the operations of Traction Division business in China. Main stakeholders are ABB MOTR Division.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Monitoring plan implementation and tracking any deviations for corrective action.
- Preparing annual budget, overseeing progress, and determining measures to address cost-related issues as necessary, to manage operations within the allocated budget and resources.
- Developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.
- Ensuring that the organization takes into account an overall value chain perspective to meet customer expectations as per agreed quality, service levels, and lead time.

- You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with lean and 6Sigma methodology and the traction and Mobile e-Power market
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have minimum 8 years of experience in production, planning, quality or/and order fulfillment areas
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in manufacturing management and quality management
- You are passionate about / you are captivated by / you are innovative around strong collaboration and communication skills and market and customers focus
- Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of Engineering or Science in manufacturing industry
- You are at ease communicating in Chinese and English
