The Operations Manager is responsible for leading day‑to‑day manufacturing operations at the CVG campus, driving execution, accountability, and continuous improvement across assigned work cells and functional leaders. This role partners closely with the Operations Director, Business Unit leadership, and support functions to deliver safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people objectives in a high‑mix, high‑volume manufacturing environment.
This leader sets the operational tone on the floor—balancing urgency with discipline—while building strong, capable management teams and scalable processes that support growth, customer commitments, and long‑term site stability.
What will you do?Leadership & People ManagementRecruit, develop, and retain high‑performing Functional Managers and Operations leaders aligned to CVG operational needs.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to define clear capability requirements and selection criteria for management roles.
Coach and mentor managers on leadership presence, decision‑making, performance management, and accountability.
Proactively monitor turnover, engagement, and bench strength; identify risks and implement targeted retention and succession plans.
Assess individual and team capability gaps; ensure training plans and standard work are in place and effectively executed.
Validate and continuously improve training curricula for operations leadership and frontline management.
Build succession pipelines for critical leadership roles to support business continuity and growth.
Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Establish clear, measurable goals aligned to site and Business Unit priorities (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and People).
Drive consistent use of operational metrics, dashboards, and tiered accountability reviews.
Provide timely, direct feedback and coaching based on performance data and observed behaviors.
Ensure performance evaluations are completed accurately, fairly, and on time.
Lead teams through periods of change, escalation, or operational disruption while maintaining focus and discipline.
Ensure consistent, transparent communication across operations leadership and frontline teams.
Create forums for two‑way communication, idea sharing, and problem‑solving.
Recognize and reinforce strong performance in a fair and consistent manner.

Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Quality to balance cost, quality, and delivery outcomes.
Support accurate headcount, capacity, and production forecasting for the CVG campus.
Analyze forecast vs. actual performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement through data‑driven analysis, KPI management, and structured problem‑solving (QRQC, RCA, Kaizen).
Ensure standard work, procedures, and work instructions are effective, current, and consistently followed.
Champion best‑in‑class manufacturing practices and share learnings across Jabil sites.
Partner with Engineering and Quality to improve process capability, yield, and customer satisfaction.
Ensure full compliance with all Jabil policies, including Safety, Quality, Security, and Confidentiality.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all health and safety requirements.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 10 years of relevant Manufacturing or operations experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
Leadership background that is hands on - leads from the front, culture and change mgmt driver.
Experience operating in a complex, matrix, fast‑paced manufacturing environment (EMS preferred).
Ability to work and connect cross functionally across multiple teams and be influential even without authority.
Safety mindset.
Strong working knowledge of operational metrics, labor planning, and continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
Proficiency with enterprise systems and tools (Workday, SAP (ERP/MES), standard Microsoft Office applications).
