Fulfillment Unit is responsible for both the warehouse operations and sales requirements, ensuring proper execution of business strategies by managing the operations, coordinating with external and internal stakeholders (Sales and Finance Teams), and onboarding of new accounts and clients.


The Fulfillment Operations Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the fulfillment warehouse operations including inventory management, storage optimization, order processing efficiency, manpower productivity, marketplace metrics SLA adherence and timely order dispatch. He/she will manage the warehouse managers in ensuring the operational efficiencies of the fulfillment warehouses aimed at reducing cost and improving overall warehouse productivity. 


Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies to enhance manpower productivity to reduce manpower cost through process improvements on inventory management, picking, packing, checkout
  • Develop ways on reducing consumables consumption through controlled and smart usage without sacrificing packing quality
  • Oversee daily operations of the fulfillment warehouse
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure smooth operation, including conducting physical counts and system reconciliations
  • Develop and implement efficient processes and standards for warehouse operations
  • Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and logistics to ensure smooth cross-functional operations
  • Manage a team of fulfillment managers, including hiring, training, and developing employees to enhance performance
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed within the fulfillment center to maintain a safe work environment
  • Prepare and present reports on inventory, order fulfillment accuracy, and other key performance metrics
  • Work with customer service and quality control teams to manage customer issues and ensure a high level of customer service
  • Main troubleshooter of warehouse ops issues
  • Develop an effective and streamlined ops processes that will ensure adherence to set SLA targets with the fulfillment shippers 
  • Work closely with the warehouse managers to avoid SLA breaches
  • Prepare ops reports for Monthly Business Review with Key Shippers

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of strong fulfillment and warehousing ops experience
  • Proven experience in a fulfillment or warehouse management role, ideally within a high-volume environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems, OMS and other related systems and applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in automated warehouse systems
  • Project management experience.
