JOB DESCRIPTION: OPERATIONS MANAGER (P3)

 

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Manager to lead and oversee a diverse team of specialists including Senior Data Analysts, Training Specialists, and Senior Engineering Operations Specialists. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Corrigo, including a comprehensive understanding of its features, functionalities, and best practices for implementation and user adoption.


This role requires a proactive leader who anticipates challenges, identifies opportunities for improvement, and takes initiative without waiting for direction. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with senior leadership, contributing strategic insights, supporting organizational initiatives, and ensuring seamless communication between operational teams and executive stakeholders.


A proven track record of fostering team morale and psychological safety, navigating ambiguity with confidence, driving operational excellence, and delivering results in a dynamic, client-focused environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Team Leads and their respective teams across data analytics, training, and engineering operations functions
  • Provide coaching and career development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and professional growth
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set clear objectives, and hold team members accountable for delivery
  • Foster a culture of psychological safety where team members feel empowered to voice concerns, share ideas, and take calculated risks without fear of retribution
  • Build and sustain high team morale through recognition, transparent communication, and inclusive leadership practices
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent in collaboration with Senior Operations Lead and HR

 

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across data analytics, training delivery, and engineering services to ensure quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each functional area, driving continuous improvement
  • Ensure resource allocation and workload distribution are optimized across teams
  • Implement and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and best practices
  • Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

 

Strategic Alignment and Execution:

  • Translate leadership roadmap and company-wide initiatives into actionable team goals and deliverables
  • Ensure alignment between team activities and organizational strategic priorities
  • Represent the team in cross-functional meetings and senior leadership forums
  • Contribute to long-term planning and resource forecasting
  • Champion organizational change initiatives and drive adoption within the team

 

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics, training, and engineering operations
  • Encourage innovation and experimentation within the team
  • Lead initiatives to modernize tools, platforms, and methodologies
  • Foster a learning culture through knowledge-sharing sessions, training programs, and professional development opportunities

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, HR, IT, and commercial teams
  • Collaborate with account teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Review and approve client deliverables, presentations, and reports prepared by the team
  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and solution-oriented approaches

 

Navigating Ambiguity and Problem-Solving:

  • Provide guidance and support to the team when faced with unclear requirements, evolving priorities, or unforeseen challenges
  • Make informed decisions with incomplete information, balancing risk and opportunity
  • Facilitate problem-solving discussions and empower team members to propose and implement solutions
  • Adapt quickly to changing business needs and pivot strategies as required

 

 

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure all team outputs meet quality standards and comply with organizational policies and client requirements
  • Oversee data governance, training program effectiveness, and engineering service delivery standards
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, safety protocols, and contractual obligations

 

Qualifications:

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 2-3+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 2-3 years in a people leadership role managing professional-level teams
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams across data analytics, training, and/or engineering operations
  • Strong understanding of facilities management, work order management systems, or related industries
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and complexity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience with performance management, coaching, and talent development
  • Ability to influence and inspire teams to achieve high performance

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in a client-facing, service delivery environment
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Corrigo, Power BI, BMS, SharePoint, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of training development, data analytics, or engineering processes
  • Certification in leadership, project management (PMP), or operations management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed organization
