About the Role:
As an Operations Manager, you will drive operational excellence across client programs, developing strategies, improving ways of working, and using data and insights to deliver results. This role blends elements of performance management, process improvement, reporting, and strategic account support. You’ll analyze performance data, translate information into actionable insights, and provide accurate reporting that supports both client and business objectives. Working closely with clients, internal teams, and regional stakeholders, you will build strong relationships, proactively solve challenges, and keep projects and initiatives on track. You’ll take ownership of priorities, anticipate business needs, and help create efficient processes that enable teams to deliver results on time and in full. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery of Operational Excellence and Efficiencies to our client in the Americas
  • Operationalize contractual KPI’s: ensure ways of working are developed to capture required data, proactively creating solutions as required
  • Manage process documentation for operational policies and procedures
  • Accountable for monitoring performance metrics, proactively seeking opportunities to drive improvements, both internally and with the client
  • Prepare weekly and monthly client reporting packs to communicate project performance 
  • Present executive summaries to senior leadership and client stakeholders with confidence 
  • Identify and proactively drive synergies in ways of working across teams to create business efficiency
  • Identify and implement improvements in program planning templates to drive long term success for our client 
  • Proactively troubleshoot operational/service delivery issues, escalating challenges before they become issues
  • Identify and communicate potential client efficiencies in terms of procurement patterns, buying cycles, product category focus, sustainability and alternative POS/Premium development in conjunction with the Account Director 
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and objectives to track progress and support client and internal initiatives 
  • Lead cross-functional team projects to completion, on time and in budget; effectively motivating all stakeholders to accomplish project goals.
  • Support new Client onboarding with teams and lead in managing new Client approval and compliance 
  • Contribute to account planning and strategy decisions
  • Assist with general training for employees 
Business Planning
  • Participate in generating client proposals and client reporting and deliverables (client business reviews, monthly reports, etc) 
  • Ability to build client facing presentations
  • Lead operational improvements to support teams to meet goals and exceed client expectations; from day to day workflow processes to strategic business plans.
  • Proactively work to understand the client’s business, their industry, and key opportunities 
  • Clearly define the required resources to support required deliverables.
  • Proactively engage cross functional teams to deliver required services.
Finance
  • Assist commercial finance in preparing budgets and refining reporting 
  • Maintain an awareness of and exercise sound business judgment Financial Management 
  • Overall, monitor campaigns to ensure deliverables are on target, on brand and are delivered on time and within budget 
  • Monitor, manage and report on project metrics, including budget, delivery and contractual operational targets, ensuring achievement of client and internal objectives
  • Analyze management information, financial and sales reports to ensure achievement of objectives and budget 
Strategic Thinking 
  • Participate in proactive innovation to develop and maintain business relationships, improve product knowledge and identify opportunities to drive adoption and sales 
  • Develop market business plans by researching the customers and trends 
  • Drive thought leadership and strategic deliverables for the future of the brands, identifying great innovative ideas in their infancy 
  • Work in an independent fashion, solve problems and / or provide options for solutions to review with your line manager, communicate resolutions and challenges effectively
  • Multitask, independently manage priorities and lead well under pressure 

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • 4+ years' of experience working with performance data, reporting packs, and executive-level summaries for a promotional product or procurement outsource agency, servicing CPG/retail client brand teams
  • Experience at Manager level, with strong leadership capability and ability to motivate cross-functional teams 
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) 
  • Strong operational and process design mindset (ways of working, documentation, continuous improvement) 
  • Strong commercial awareness and comfort managing budgets, metrics and delivery targets 
  • Excellent client relationship, communication and presentation skills (including building client-facing decks) 
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-focused with the ability to anticipate issues and act early
