Ellasot Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a reputable company seeking a competent, detail-oriented Operations Manager to join its operations team.
The ideal candidate would be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization to ensure efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer satisfaction. The role involves managing operational teams, implementing business strategies, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate departmental teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality.
- Monitor operational performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Manage operational budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate with Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Marketing, and other departments to achieve organizational objectives.
- Oversee inventory management, procurement, and asset control.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement operational enhancements.
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive performance.
- Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and hospitality best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years' management experience in upscale or fine dining restaurants.
- Experience in luxury hospitality, premium restaurants, or food and beverage operations will be an added advantage.
- Membership of a recognized professional body is an added advantage.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong financial management and cost-control abilities.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding customer service and guest relations skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and restaurant management/POS systems.
